We have arrested six people as part of a series of drugs warrants which have been executed in the Croxteth area this morning, Wednesday 7th August.
In total 12 Misuse of Drugs (MDA) warrants were executed. Two people were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and four for cannabis cultivation.
Following the warrants we are also investigating possible offences of money laundering, theft of a motor vehicle and possession of a controlled drug.
Four suspected stolen bikes were recovered together with two cannabis farms and large amount of cash was also seized from two addresses.
All six people were taken in custody to be questioned by detectives.
Detective Chief Inspector Paul Grounds said: “Today’s action was as part of an ongoing operation to tackle organised crime in the Merseyside area and was in response to intelligence gathered around drug dealing in the Croxteth area.
“We will continue to take this action to target those involved in criminality and I would ask members of the public to assist us by coming forward with information.
