We have arrested one man and seized a quantity of drugs and cash on Saturday, 17 August.
At around 6pm, patrols in Toxteth noted a speeding VW Golf, and followed it to Dovey Street where a man leaving the car was stop checked and detained.
The 33-year-old man from Mossley Hill was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class B.
The man was later released under investigation.
Chief Inspector Andy Rankine said: “We will not tolerate drug dealing in our community and every arrest we make is a reminder that we will not stand by and allow crime on our streets.
We have recovered quite a large amount of drugs here and I hope this activity reassures the wider public that we are determined to make our communities safer places to live.
“We need communities to keep engaging with us, so that we can disrupt this criminal activity with their help.”
