Appeal following a fire at nursery in Garston

We are appealing for information following a fire at a nursery in Garston on Saturday night (4 May 2019).

Emergency services were called to the Honey Pot Day Nursery on Earp Street at around 9.10pm to a report the building was on fire.

The fire was extinguished by Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service.

Enquiries into the fire are at a very early stage, but it was reported it may have been started deliberately.

The building was unoccupied at the time and there are no reports of any injuries.
